My mom is in memory care and is thriving there! THE ENTIRE STAFF are all amazing… Julia, Amy, Michelle, Bella, Maggie, and all the other staff and care givers are all outstanding! Even the kitchen staff, Braden, Jazz, and all the other members are simply great. The food is excellent. My mom has been at two different other memory care communities and has never done as good as she is doing here!!

We were faced with the difficult decision of moving our mom from a memory care facility in California to one in Arizona. We were filled with uncertainty and anxiety over how the move would go. From the moment we walked through the doors of Abbington Senior Living of Gilbert those worries were gone. The staff welcomed her and our entire family with warmth, patience, and deep compassion. We knew we made the right decision.
What stood out most was the way they treated our mom. They took the time to learn her story, her likes and dislikes, and made every effort to honor her individuality. The level of communication from the staff to our family exceeded our expectations. The facility itself was always clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed for those with memory challenges, but truly it was the people who made the real difference. The caregivers, nurses, front office staff, administrative staff and kitchen staff all treated our mom with respect and kindness.
We will be forever grateful to Abbington for the love and patience they showed our mom.
If you're searching for a place where your loved one will be treated with the compassion they deserve, I wholeheartedly recommend this remarkable community.

Absolutely could not love this place more!! My mother has been in 2 other senior living facilities in the area and the food was so bad that we had to move her, along with many other things that were not good. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but every staff person is wonderful, and truly caring. All the residents are welcoming and so kind, and all gush about how happy they are there. When she needs anything, they are super responsive. Because they are able to be assisted living when necessary, they are able to help with so much more. For example, if she falls, they are actually able to help her, unlike most other facilities that separate assisted and independent living - and per their licensing, they cannot help those in independent living at all. This is such an important distinction and if you looking at senior living for your family member, really important to consider. My mom had a fall at her previous place and 911 was called, even though she didn't need it, she only needed a hand to get up. I wish I had understood how the licensing works. But everything worked out for the best because now she is in the best place ever! We are just over the moon! Thank you Abbington for being so wonderful and taking such great care of your residents :-)

We met the staff August 2023 when the building was under construction. They were very informative and welcoming. We knew right away that they were honest and care giving people and had years of experience. Our dad has been there 3 months and is happy and had excellent care. They are quick to follow up with the family when needed. They are a 5 star staff in our family's opinion. The brand new facility has all the amenities and is beautifully decorated. Please consider The Abbington for yourself or loved one!
