My 92-year-old mother has been in Abel’s care home since October 2024 and we have been quite happy with her care there.
We toured a couple of other homes, but I knew the moment we toured this home that it was “the one”. The home is very clean and cheerful and the caretakers genuinely care about the patients.
They serve a variety of well-balanced meals and special snacks and treats, while catering to any special dietary needs.
Abel is a gracious person and celebrates each patient’s birthday as a special occasion and decorates for every holiday. It is so uplifting for both the patients and the visitors.
Our Hospice company remarked on how nice and well-run the home is. We are treated like family there and my mom is in very good hands. A huge thank-you to Abel and staff.

Angel's Adult Group Home has been a wonderful place for my mother in law as she has advanced through late stages of Parkinson's over the last 3-1/2 years. Now being on Hospice, the nurses tell us how lucky we are to have such special caregivers! It is rare to find the attention to detail and loving care that she gets. I highly recommend this place to others.

Abel and her team provided excellent care for my mom, always with kindness and love. The hospice nurse said every time she came that my mom was being well take care of as well, which we knew but was good to hear from someone who sees a lot. My mom also told us how good they were to her.
Visitors were allowed and recognized upon repeat visits.
The home is quiet, clean, and peaceful. My mom was near the end of life, but totally coherent when she arrived, and they engaged in conversation with her, getting to know her, and always treated her with respect and loving care. Another client who was in better health always appeared happy as well, clearly also being well cared for.
We could not have chosen a better place for my mom at the end of her days.

What an amazing place for a loved one who needs special care!
The caregivers of Angel's Adult Group Home are the most caring and attentive people I've met—and trust me, our family member (and the family) have been through quite a lot.
Six months ago my brother-in-law received a serious brain injury, and after being in 3 different hospitals and 2 "rehab" facilities his diagnosis was finally deemed terminal and a more comfortable care home was recommended, along with hospice care.
Angel's Adult Group Home took special care to ensure his comfort and care, even to the point of celebrating his birthday and special holiday occasions with wall decorations in his room and even birthday cake. They made sure he was cleaned everyday and had clean clothes and bedding. The care-givers were always friendly and professional and made us feel at home as we visited each day.
In addition, we chose Hospice of the Valley, who in concert with Angel's Adult Group Home, provided exceptional and professional comfort care—thank you to them, as well. Everybody involved went above and beyond expectations.
I only wish my Mother, who recently passed away in an assisted living facility, would have had such loving and attentive care as my brother-in-law received from Angel's Adult Group Home. If I could have given 10 stars I would have.
Thank you to each and everybody at Angel's Adult Group Home and Hospice of the Valley for your loving care of our loved one. We are forever indebted to you all.

Angel’s Adult Group Home is so appropriately named! Owner Abel and everyone works there are truly angels! They have been caring for my mother, who has advanced Parkinson’s, for 3 years and she could not be in a better place. The home is immaculately clean and food she is served is fabulous..... excellent quality and deliciously prepared with lots of variety.
Mom is lovingly cared for. Everyday they get her dressed and fix her hair and put make up on her. She spends the day with the other “ guests ” in the den, watching TV, doing coloring pages or other activities. Every holiday is celebrated with decorations and a special menu.
I live on the East Coast and Abel often sends me videos and I FaceTime often with Mom.
As Mom’s needs have increased, the level of care provided has been appropriate and completely adequate throughout her decline. Sadly, Mom’s Parkinson’s has recently dramatically progressed and we made the decision to call in hospice. Abel is wonderful to work with them and the hospice staff tell us that Mom could not be getting better care.
Prior to the pandemic, Abel arranged for Audrey’s Angel and other volunteers to come on a regular basis to interact with and/or entertain everyone and pastoral care is still coming to support Mom’s religious wellbeing.
If your loved one is approaching the final chapter of their life, you could find no better place for them than Angel’s Adult Group Home.
