This post is here to complement our caregiver Linda. My husband and I have been here since May. Linda has been with us most of that time. She is very professional yet full of empathy and love for her patients. She helps in the ways she is expected to and will go beyond anytime we are in need. She makes our stay here at Arbor Ridge much more pleasant. We feel very blessed to have her caring for us.
Thank you to Arbor Ridge for keeping the bar high for our caregivers.

My mom has been a resident for almost 8 years. I have to say finding a place that meets the needs of our loved ones when they can no longer care for themselves is daunting to say the least. My mom has said to me on more than one occasion these have been some of the happiest years of her life. For one thing she is not struggling alone to care for herself. She has a community of people with shared issues and experiences. The staff there has been pretty stable throughout her time there. Most importantly the quality and caring of the staff especially the caregivers is exceptional. They've had their share of employees that didn't work out but they seem to be able to find and retain such great staff. The food is very good and the grounds and apartments are very nice. There have been times that they had more events and since COVID I don't think they have really gotten that back up to speed. But my mom is happy, safe and cared for in ways that make me so grateful and happy. I'm updating this review My mom has resided here for now 9 and 1/2 years. Some of the things that I neglected in my post was how beautiful the grounds are how the apartments all have some sort of patio that leads to garden areas. It's so well maintained. Never stinky But again I have to go back to the staff They are above and beyond what I could have hoped for. The new-ish nurse that works there Paula jumps through every single hoop to make sure each one of her residents is not only cared for but respected as well. Upon a recent bad turn for my mom Paula and two of her caregivers stayed with me until 1:30 in the morning even though they had families to get home to and they were way past their time on the clock... I can't tell you what that meant to me Rosa and Rudy. I almost hate to just name them because literally everyone who works there recently has just been full-on amazing. The kitchen staff the maintenance the med techs. The front desk the transportation all of these people are incredible. Even the lovely lady that does the billing every once in awhile there's a glitch in the system and she always reaches out with a personal note. Yes there are places that have more activities there are places that have more amenities but I am so grateful I found this wonderful place for my mom to live out her life safely and feeling so loved and cared for

My mother-in-law has been at the Amethyst since December of 2017. She wasn't happy about going but new it was necessary. Her apartment is very nice. The staff are very pleasant and Edith who in charge of the CNA's is absolutely amazing. She is a real go getter! I don't have to worry about mom when she takes over things.
I absolutely love this place!!!
I have toured several places with mom and they are by far the best place!!!

Our family is grateful for the care our parents receive at Amethyst Arbor. Being from Tucson it took a lot of our time to research and carefully select the assisted living options in the Phoenix area. We chose three to visit and Amethyst stood out among the others. The facility was clean and odor free. The apartments are generous in size and well kept up. Our parents are pleased with the food and the services in general. I would like to highlight some of the staff that continues to be helpful. Eric assisted us from the first tour through our final decision. He was pressure free and was very helpful. Mike Burgess, the assisted living manager, was great with the move-in and he acts quickly when repairs need to be made and when anything else under his control needs to be addressed. The director, Mike Dockem is down to earth, warm, and friendly. He has responded quickly to the few requests we have made. Overall, we and most importantly our parents are very happy. Although not inexpensive, and no facility is, we feel our parents are getting good value for what they pay. We would highly recommend Amethyst to others.

I wanted to write on behalf of my time spent at Amethyst Arbors. I enjoyed my experience. The food was fresh, and the staff was very friendly. I made many great friends in my 6 months there. I would recommend Amethyst Arbors to my friends and family.
