Barbara Jean's Assisted Living is a very clean and beautiful home-like setting. Tia is AMAZING at helping you through the process of placing your loved one. The care was awesome and meals were home cooked. They made our mother feel like a queen and took the very best care of her during her time there. We couldn't have asked for a better place for her final days.

I am very pleased with the care that my dad is receiving at Barbara Jean's Assisted Living.
Tia and her staff are very diligent in caring for my dad and the other tenants.
The meals that are prepared there must be very delicious cause my dad never leaves anything on his plate.
Tia sends me pictures of my dad throughout the week, which is always a nice surprise.
I highly recommend Barbara Jean's Assisted Living. The home and rooms are kept very clean and tidy and it has a feel of being home.

A year ago, I had to make the hardest decision I may have ever had to make…placing my mom in assisted living. She had lived with me for 6 years and I had taken care of her up that point, but her health started to fail her and after a handful of issues, I knew she needed 24/7 care. I didn’t have to look for too long after receiving a number of referrals to Barbara Jeans Assisted Living. Upon touring the home, I knew it was where my mom should be. Teia was most welcoming, loving, kind and patient with me as I vetted out her group home. I asked a ton of questions and actually toured another home after Teia’s but came right back to hers. The home is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and smells amazing, and there is never a moment I don’t personally feel welcome. My mom adores Teia and even though she has dementia, mom knows it is her home. Teia is the best cook and mom is well fed. I can text at any time for an update and Teia is great at keeping you updated with pictures! Her staff is exemplary and treats all the residents and their families as family! I highly recommend Barbara Jeans Assisted Living if you are in my shoes, needing a trusting and loving home for your loved one! I was very hesitant, scared and anxious to allow someone else to take care of my mom. Teia eased my worries and it has been the best decision for mom and I!

My mom passed away suddenly and my dad was lost. His health declined quickly so he ended up in the hospital and then into hospice. While at the hospice facility, we were told that he needed to be moved to an assisted living home as he was graduating out of the hospice facility. Both my brother and I live out of Arizona so we had no idea where to start looking. My brother asked for some names at the hospice facility. Barbara Jean’s assisted living was one that was recommended and my brother and sister in law visited it right away. They fell in love with Teia (the owner) and the home!
Teia made the transition from the hospice facility to her assisted living home easy. I had a chance to visit my dad at Barbara Jean’s and I was so impressed. The women who work there, including Teia, are true angels. They treat all of their residents with kindness and respect. It is a very clean home and it really feels like a home, not a facility.
I felt that the communication was FABULOUS! Teia really helped me have peace while I was mourning my mom’s passing while trying to understand my dad’s condition.
My dad recently passed away while living at Barbara’s Jean’s. In his final hours, someone was willing to be by his side. I think he died very happy, because of the kindness of the workers and the warm home feeling. Two of the angels came to my dad’s funeral. Wow, that was very special!

We found Barbara Jean's on the recommendations of people we trusted for continuing care for our Father. His care is complicated and my siblings and I could not be happier. Tia and her crew are outstanding ! They truly have compassion and care for those they take care of. Communication with me and the medical people about my dad is exceptional. He is well cared for and we are happy and at peace with where he is. Not a better place out there in my book. It's clean, it's comfortable, and it's home for dad now. We can see it is his face. So blessed to have found this place. Recommend it 100% !
