In 2023, I needed to find assisted living care for my 80 year old sister that would cover a 4+month period from January to May 2024. For both my sister and I, the appropriate facility had to be resort-quality, and must assiduously maintain the safety and welfare of its residents. Of equal importance would be that same staff's necessity to efficiently manage my sisters on-site medical care and physical therapy. This would also involve overseeing her complex appointment scheduling (including transportation requirements) involving 7 separate medical specialties, as well as 3 scheduled dialysis sessions per week).
Legacy House was suggested to me. My sister and I scheduled an immediate visit. We were both impressed by the caliber of professionalism and positive demeanor of every staff member and resident that we encountered. The facilities were magnificent and flawlessly maintained - like walking onto a Marriott Resort Property. The staff and residents were so welcoming to us. Their competency and genuine sense of wanting to insure my sisters care, safety, and wellbeing never waned during her 23-month residency at Legacy House.
It has be outstanding! I hope this review helps other families like me who are in search of the perfect place! Thank you for all that you do Legacy, it has been a pleasure being part of your community.

My father was a resident here, first time ever having to be put in a situation to have care for a loved one and the staff made it so easy and comfortable not just for me but for my dad. I could stop at anytime, he was always well taken care of. The staff communicated with me weekly and let me know anything that was needed. Always friendly and treated my dad like their own family member not just another patient. I would highly recommend!!!!!

During our facility tour, I was deeply touched to see how committed the staff is to resident safety and dignity. They replaced all bathroom doors to swing in both directions — a thoughtful change that ensures immediate access in case a resident falls. True compassion looks like this!

The place was fine. I have no issues. My dad is very active and Legacy was jut not a good fit. The staff was great. Rooms were small but doable. I did feel for what Legacy had to offer, it was a bit overpriced.

Nicole was my tour guide, and she did an amazing job. She was very thorough and picked up on verbal cues about my interests. Then, Nicole tied them together and brought up many topics and activities that made the day very pleasant. I left feeling quite well informed and more ready to make the decisions that will soon need to be made. Thanks for a fun and educational experience.
