I was originally against the idea of putting my dad in a care home because the others that I had experienced always smelled like urine. Peoria Vista Care was very clean smelled good and the staff and other patients there were very nice. Unfortunately someone in the house came down with covid so we couldn't go visit dad for seven days as they wanted to make sure everyone else was safe. We had a very good experience with everyone there. The staff was very caring and attentive. They seemed to have dads best interest at heart. If you need to place a loved one in a care home I would suggest Peoria Vista Care.

Peoria Vista, This place is amazing to send a love one that may need extra care. They are very loving and kind. They allowed us to vist our grandpa whenever as well as let our grandpa see his 3 yr old great granddaughter. He had everything he needed to make sure he was comfortable. While visiting, the staff would give you uninterrupted time with your loved one. You can tell the staff only want what is best for the people they are taking care of. Please consider Peoria Vista home care if you ever have a loved one that may need the extra care.

I arrived confined to a wheelchair and very weak. After a couple of months, I use a walker exclusively n have gained a lot of strength. Staff n Residents create a Family Like Environment supporting one another in their individual challenges to optimum health. I would recommend this Facility to others. Diane Guthrie

My dad was here. What a nightmare . They would not let my mom and daughter in but let my step brother in was there saying covid but yet there are no state statutes . Trina one of the care takers is very rude and unprofessional ! Then the owners kids walk right in! They gave up on my dad . I have recording of them yelling at my dad and seen them yelling at his roommate it was sad . I wanted to get him out but that a long story. They are very two faced to family members . Basically you go there to die unfortunately . No hand sanitizer. They would not give my dad water on several occasions . It was just sad . We were kept from my dad the last week he was somewhat coherent ! Then he died the following week all suspicious . Did not keep my mom informed which she was a POA and his wife. I don’t think they fed him much either . There cameras don’t work supposedly or record is what we were told too . Don’t put your loved one there !

It's a hard decision when you come to this point in life where you have to find a place for a loved one There's a lot of factors to consider However this one really felt like home The staff was attentive kind and took every effort to make my grandfather feel comfortable And the visiting family members as well I would highly recommend peoria vista as a place for your loved one they go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and cared for And create a loving homelike environment Also I will say they have taken the time to invest into their property in the proper safety equipment fire suppression equipment it is very nice to see that it makes you feel safe and secure knowing that they have the well-being of your loved one in mind
