Elegant, warm, and economically astute. I've been here about a month and enjoy it more daily. The centrally located koi pond, recently appointed by new manage and ownership, is a relaxing and invigorating delight. There is a splendid lit path at night.
Staff at all levels has been exceptional. People general seem happy to be here. I looked at alot of places and this is equally a $4000.00 place in Scottsdale. The area here is pleasant and across the street from Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and hospital.
Alicia at the front desk is amazing and a rarely seen resident advocate de facto. Natalie in Dining is also a gem. Mike Brown at CEO seems to have revitalized my home.
Also thanks to New Day Lifestyles...Julia and Ramie...for dragging me over from mesa several times..God knows why I thought...now I thank them and understand!
Go Steelers!
And last but not least comes the little Sheba of Redwood City, the Dynamo of Thunderbird, the Fatima of Family Advisors Kaaaattttyyyyyyyyy S.

I’m just a witness here, but I felt this needed to be said. I work in customer service myself, so I understand how important it is to treat people with patience and respect.
While I was helping one of my customers, the driver Gary came in and gave her attitude because she wasn’t back to the bus “fast enough.” This customer has mobility and vision issues and was clearly doing her best to get to the front. Instead of showing patience or offering a helping hand, he told her she “should’ve been back 10 minutes ago” and then said, “Do you need me to call a ride for you?” as if he was ready to leave her behind.
I stepped in to help her get onto the bus while he just stood there and watched. He didn’t say thank you or offer any kind of kindness in the moment. Multiple employees around me noticed and shared the same reaction — it was uncomfortable to witness.
Someone in his position should be held to a higher standard. Showing patience, respect, and basic human decency isn’t optional in this line of work — it’s the bare minimum.

Our family member loves his little apartment and I love that he is taking care of daily by having food prepared for him and having them always checking to make sure that he's up and about with their door magnet system. The staff are incredibly sweet, kind, informative, and helpful. The facilities are kept in pristine condition and overall it's a joy to visit him there and seeing what the facility offers for entertainment and relaxation for the residents.

Thunderbird Senior Living dining receives a minus "1" in regards to service. Tenants have waited over an hour just to get a bowl of soup, or often they don't receive their meal at all. I ordered an ham and cheese sandwich that arrived 45 minutes to later, but there was no ham! (REALLY? How can you screw that up?). This morning tenants were asking visitors to get them coffee. Even the self serve coffee containers by the deli were empty. Getting an order to go is like asking God to strike lightening in the same place twice. Now, for the quality of the food, it is a hit or miss. Mostly a miss! I've ordered a menu item that was unrecognizable as to what it was. I threw it away and ate a banana. Im not typically one to complain, and I'm a believer in second and even third chances. Unfortunately, 8 out of 10 times Thunderbird dining is disgusting!
Aside from the bad dining experiences, I need to point out that the facility is clean, Thunderbird provides excellent activities for the tenants, truly seem to care about tenants wellbeing, and the staff is amazing.

Where to begin? This is the place I'd put myself. The care & compassion that Mike & Maria show is truly touching. They are really doing God's work. My Mom was so comfortable here and Mike & Maria seemed like friends of the family, not just caretakers. There were a couple of residents that did not receive many or even any visitors but Mike & Maria were there for them to keep them company & never allow them to feel lonely.
As soon as I entered their home, I felt an overwhelming serenity. If you are unsure about a place for a family member, rest assured that thus is the correct choice for sincere caring with a personable approach. I could not recommend them enough. I am eternally grateful for the high level of attentiveness & compassion (dare I say love) that they showed my Mom...really.
